Get to know the photographer

I'm AManda, A visual storyteller.

I’m someone who pays attention to the quiet moments, the ones that happen in between poses and expectations. The glance your partner gives you when no one’s watching. The way your child's hand fits into yours. The light that finds you when you’re not trying to be seen.

My work is rooted in emotion, not perfection. I photograph slowly and intuitively, drawn to images that feel honest and lived in.

Film inspired and timeless, my photographs are meant to feel like home, a memory you return to years later and can still recall everything you felt during that chapter of your life.

I’m inspired by novels that leave you longing, well worn heirlooms, and evenings when the light softens everything it touches. I look for the small details that often go unnoticed because those are the pieces of life that tend to matter most.

I’m a wife and also a mother of two, which has deeply shaped the way I see and photograph relationships and families. I understand how fleeting these seasons are and how quickly wrinkles form, hands grow and routines change. My approach is gentle and unforced, leaving room for connection rather than direction.

When I’m not photographing, I’m usually savoring quiet mornings, reading and intentionally creating a home my children will one day feel nostalgic about.

If you’re looking for photographs that feel natural, intimate, and true to you, images that hold weight and meaning beyond the moment, I’d be honored to document your story.

When the good pictures come, we hope they tell truths, but truths 'told slant,' just as Emily Dickinson commanded.
